Its been pretty long since I'm all hyped up over this kinda competition stuff, I've been wanting to put up something regarding Olympics all week but really didn't have the time to come online to do something I want.. I should really be getting started on my Lunwen now or spend the time mugging my ass off.. I've been giving myself small breaks throughout the whole week and ended up doing nothing of importance at all, be it watching Olympics or videos online, taking a nap which turned out to be an 8-hour sleep or just staring blank.. I really need to get thrown into books as time is seriously seeping through like sand..and i can tell that teachers ( at least one is pretty obvious ) are getting impatient..
The highlight of the week for me would be Michael Phelps sweeping the golds... hopefully 8 by sunday.. I really can't wait, he's already the greatest Olympian ever, he's gonna be a LEGEND. xD
The best part is about the excitement to see somebody fulfill his dream, it makes you wonder whether you can do yours too, no matter how small or insignificant it is compared to his 8 golds. I really enjoyed watching a finals like that of the 4 x 100m freestyle men's relay. It was seriously a close call, we all thought that US is gonna lose it, and it was till the last 50m, or was it only 20m, that they started to catch up and eventually turned out victorious. It gave me hope that maybe my last 100m dash for the prelims is still worthy. Anyway, Park Tae Hwan is real cool, being the first Korean to win a Gold medal in the pools.. Kosuke Kitajima's gotta be one of the top Asian swimmers ever!!
Proud moment for Singaporeans when Tao Li made it into finals, and even better.. The table tennis group made it to he finals.. finally a medal after 48 years? haha, we are in tears.. hope they clinch the gold medal =) GO TEAM SG!!!!!
